Biography
Barbara Pierzgalska was born in Siedlce. She graduated from the textile department, at the State Academy of Arts (PWSSP), in Łódź.
She professionally occupies herself with the design of art textiles, drawing and painting, interior design and industrial textiles design. She won the Ministry of Culture and Arts scholarship. She also won the Mayor of Siedlce scholarship. She is an expert at the Ministry of Culture and Arts.
She has organised 30 important individual exhibitions. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad (France, Holland, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Finland and Belgium, among others). She belongs to the Federation of Polish Pastelists and the Union of Polish Artists. She actively participates in Polish artistic life. Her works are found in Polish museums, as well as in private collections, in Poland and abroad.
